America, the fact that Homeland Security is purchasing billions of rounds of ammo and weapons while the White House is working so hard to disarm us is a frightening conundrum with diabolical opposing outcomes. WELCOME TO THE NEW AMERICA!
Before you click on the following link, ask yourself the same question I’m asking myself. What in the heck is in our future? One sign used by a mock protester reads, “FOOD NOW”….if that doesn’t make you think, nothing will.

Petitioners to Secede
I’m following up on yesterday’s post. It would virtually be impossible for any state other than Texas to actually secede from the United States. Why? It would certainly surprise me to find that the over half million signers of the state petitions to secede, would actually want to secede. In my opinion and my own motivation to sign, was a venue in which I could voice my displeasure with the government intrusion on the rights of American citizens.
These petitions will likely fall on deaf ears in Washington, D.C. and rightly so, but the motivation for so many Americans to participate should be a wake-up call that Americans, true freedom loving Americans, are fed up with the size of government, disregard for our rights, intrusion into our personal lives, disregard for religious rights and the inability of the federal government to stop the bleeding of our failing economy. These and more are the basic reasons I participated. Should a state actually secede, that state would become a separate nation. Considering infrastructure, Federal holdings in each state, the legal system, taxes, etc., etc., etc. could never be changed.
Could secession ever happen? No, not without some type of revolt. Do I want to give up my American citizenship? No! I love America, the America I was raised in and grew to love and respect. Unfortunately we have allowed the corruption of the political system and the theft of our birthrights. We no longer have a the right to vote on critical issues that effect us all. Through Executive Order and Executive Privilege this president is capable of and has declared edicts that are unconstitutional.
So, without further dissertation, I would hope that the majority of the signers of these petitions were exercising their right to protest and let their voices of dissatisfaction be carried loud and strong to the U.S. Government. I want change and not the kind of change that the past and current administrations have forced upon the American public. My comment to the liberals in America, you are the reason this country is in the mess we are experiencing. I will never understand that mindset at all. I only have to say that I believe liberalism is a mental lapse in judgement brought on by a systemic desire and inherent, inbred inability to think for themselves. Followers of this ideology are just that, followers.
2nd AMENDMENT END-RUN!
Reblogged from freedombrotherhood:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.
The decision, announced in a statement released by the
U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W.
Get Rid of the Electoral College
Hopefully this post will be my last concerning the presidential election although I don’t promise to send out the occasional bloviation about this administration and the electors who elected them for another four years. I do however have this to say about myself and others who encountered the excessively long lines at, in my case, two polling locations within blocks of each other. In spite of at least twelve police vehicles in numerous places, the traffic lines trying to get to the polling locations was, conservatively, over a mile long. I know because my home is located approximately half a mile from the church and on the main street where the voting places were located. Politicians in our city have allowed the city to grow at such an excessive rate that our infrastructure is a nightmare. The population has grown from 3500 in 1980 to over 20,000 today. Why? More revenue through taxes and higher salaries for the political infrastructure. All that said, during the day the traffic was at a standstill past my house and out of view in the opposite direction. I watched the traffic for almost the entire day and decided to venture out when the traffic had appeared to have subsided somewhat.
I’ve been around long enough to know that the only thing your vote counts for in a presidential election, is the local and state issues on the ballot. All of the drum beating for people to get out and vote so this or that candidate could win the presidency was just a bunch of drum beating. Afterall the president of the United States of America is elected by a group of electors in each respective state, not by the popular vote. But there is something of a guilt complex that has been cast upon Americans about getting out to vote, that I have to admit is only reason I ventured out in the first place. I personally believe the mold has been cast far in advance of the public filing into a voting booth to pull a lever.
The winner of the election was actually called before midnight on November 6th long before all the votes were counted. I’m told that it takes hours to download the tallies from these voting machines not to mention the counting of absentee and paper ballots. At this writing Florida still hasn’t finished their tally and it’s been over thirty hours since all the balloons were popped and the confetti swept away. So, with all the pundit’s chants of “vote, vote, vote” where did it get us? We certainly didn’t have a voice in this and other presidential elections.
It’s time to get rid of the antiquated electoral college and let the majority speak. The importance of this particular election was critical to the success or failure of this great nation and because of the election process in the U.S. we, the majority, were muted. I will be researching the methods available to the public to have our voices heard in order to rectify this process.
Let me know what you think and if you have a suggestion, I’d be happy to hear from you whether you agree or disagree.
Go in peace and be prepared for anything!
